The project collection for TWSH encompassed a wide spectrum of Web3 tracks, ensuring comprehensive representation of the industry’s forefront. It embraced popular categories such as DeFi, GameFi, Metaverse, NFT, and SocialFi, while also delving into emerging trends like zero-knowledge proof (ZK), encrypted AI fusion, innovative stablecoins, DePIN (decentralized physical infrastructure Internet), soul-bound tokens (SBT), fully on-chain games, new social applications, and other pioneering domains. This inclusive approach fostered an environment of exploration and innovation, encouraging participants to push the boundaries of Web3 technology and create groundbreaking projects in diverse areas.

During the first roadshow day on May 17th, the ten participating projects, hailing from various corners of the globe, were grouped into three categories. Each group presented their project attributes, development plans, or financing strategies to a discerning audience of investors. Simultaneously, the event organizers arranged three enlightening roundtable forums, gathering esteemed professionals from Japan’s local and global Web3 landscape. These forums delved into compelling topics such as the opportunities and challenges for Japan in the Web3 era, the projected development of Web3 and encryption technologies over the next decade, and the current state of the venture capital landscape in the Web3 era. Notably, Carmen Tan, Strategy Manager of CoinW Labs, lent expertise to one of the roundtable discussions, sharing insightful perspectives on topics such as establishing an encrypted economy, expanding the reach of Web3, and navigating the challenges that lie ahead in the coming decade.
